Dr. DiBona and team are experts at caring for the anxious patient. There is no shame in having dental anxiety. That's normal for many! We welcome patients who may be nervous about coming to the dentist.

Sedation dentistry, or IV sedation, is for patients who may have more pronounced dental anxiety. For some, going to sleep may be the most comfortable way to proceed. We have a highly trained nurse anesthetist who works with us on-site to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

DiBona Dental also offers nitrous oxide (N20) or "laughing gas". Nitrous is a light form of sedation that wears off quickly. You will remain completely conscious but your anxiety will melt away in a soft feeling of euphoria. This is a very safe, very efficient form of sedation. It is recommended you let the patient coordinators know in advance that you want the laughing gas.
