Dr. Jennifer Gibbs' journey in dentistry began at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. She then advanced her education at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, earning both a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and a Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology. Following this, she completed her specialized endodontic training at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco
(UCSF).

As a board-certified endodontist by the American Board of Endodontists, Dr. Gibbs combines clinical expertise with her extensive research background. She has published over 40 manuscripts on topics including pulp biology, pain mechanisms, and patient-centered endodontic outcomes. Dr. Gibbs is currently an assistant professor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM), serving as the division head of endodontics and the program director of the Advanced Graduate Program in Endodontics.

Dr. Gibbs is not only a practicing endodontist but also a dedicated researcher, teacher, and mentor. Her passion for education and research has led her to lecture nationally and internationally on pain management, regenerative endodontics, and other advanced topics within endodontics.

Dr. Gibbs has earned the following awards:
● The Endodontic Educator Award from the American Association of Endodontists
● The Distinguished Mentor Award from UCSF
● The Distinguished Scientist Award in Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Therapeutics (2023) from the International Association for Dental Research (IADR)
● The Distinguished Senior Faculty Award from Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) in 2024
Outside of the practice, Dr. Gibbs enjoys spending time in nature camping, hiking, and playing tennis. She's also an avid reader of novels and takes great pride in her role as a dedicated "soccer mom."
